Consider This -

As the Thanksgiving holiday comes around (for those who celebrate)
thoughts turn to spending time with friends and family, and there is
much ado about what to fix.

If you are this year's host and are inviting guests, you may want to
find out if there is anyone on this year's list who has compromised
health issues such as diabetes, restricted salt, or is simply on a diet.
This may cause a bit more work, but it is also possible to reduce calories,
salt, etc. and make the meal more healthy for everyone.

In many cases, you don't need as much salt (or any). You can often
substitute low-fat milk for cream and still come out with great-tasting
deserts. Check and find out what you can substitute when you know that
something is not going to be healthy for any of your guests.

Most hosts want to make sure that every guest comes away with a
smile on his or her face. Make your Thanksgiving a day that your guests
will smile about for a long time.
