Easy Fitness

Here are just a few tips that are really
easy to incorporate into your daily routine
and will help you to burn more calories.

1. Don't sit down when you first get in the door.
Most people go right to the couch or chair when
they get home. You are NO LONGER "most people"
What you are NOW going to do is to take a walk
around your house and if you are ready to read your mail,
stand and read it (you are burning calories by standing).

2. Have you ever thought about leaving your remote on,
or by, the T.V.? Okay, so it doesn't make sense to
have the remote if you leave it there. How much sense does it make to
eat that bag of chips, or those cookies, or that caloric drink?

3. When you are sitting and watching T.V. or reading, you can
simply raise your leg off of the ground like you are stretching.
alternate with each leg. Then try both at the same time.
Your tummy will love you for it.

Weight Loss and Your "Drama"

Hi everyone.

Do your emotions get in the way of you sticking with your program?
If so,
here are a few things that may help.

1. Pay attention to your emotional state. This is when you will most
likely be the most
susceptible to just grabbing and stuffing.

2. Whenever you feel stressed, for whatever reason, take a few
moments to sit or lie down and take a few deep breaths.
The more relaxed you can get your body, the more clearly
will you mind be able to organize your thoughts.

3. Take notice of the time that you DO want to eat. You may find
that you are just bored, tired, unhappy, or whatever. These are
NOT reasons to eat.

If you want more weight loss information, grab your copy of
"The Thin Within". This gives information about how you can
get yourself mentally prepared for weight loss. It also gives
suggestions for finding a weight loss plan. Click Here

Lawn Exercise

Whoever said that you can't get a great amount of exercise
at home? I just finished mowing and I KNOW that I burned
a bunch of calories. I use a push gas mower that has the
self-propelled function which I don't use. I also run with
the mower when I am on a somewhat level surface.
I have very hilly terrain and about 2 acres to mow.
Mowing can be GREAT exercise.

What is Success?

Success is measured differently depending upon your life and interests.
One thing that holds true is that success is not just one BIG thing but
can be many small things. Getting the laundry done, finishing a paper
that is due for school, or just getting up in the morning when
you are tired.

What makes success happen is that we do what it takes
to finish what we start. If we don't finish, we don't accomplish.
If we don't accomplish, we can get complacent.

Don't let yourself or your desires go to waste. DO SOMETHING
AND FINISH WHAT YOU START!
